The Multicultural Center works collaboratively to affirm, educate, and empower our diverse CSN community. With a student-centered focus we offer impactful programs and initiatives that provide opportunities for identity development, community engagement, and leadership cultivation to improve campus climate and increase retention.

What We Do

The Multicultural Center is excited to work with you to ensure you have a welcoming and meaningful experience at CSN. As such the following are a few of the initiatives and services we offer:

Empowerment Network Initiative

The Empowerment Network Initiative (ENI) is an identity-based cohort program that assists and empowers students during their journey at CSN. The program promotes mutual support in personal growth, professional development, and academic success. Visit the ENI website to learn more.

Multicultural Student Organizations

Getting and staying involved is one of the most important things you can do while in college. Some benefits include making friends, gaining leadership skills, and increasing your confidence. It does not matter how you are involved, it only matters that you are! Join a student organization today.

Events

We offer a variety of social, cultural, and educational programs that affirm identities and create community. We also host a variety of diversity events to recognize several identity months/weeks including Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (Apr), Black History Month (Feb), International Education Week (Nov), Latino Heritage Month (Sept), Native American Heritage Month (Mar), LGBTQ Pride Month (Oct) and Women's History Month (Mar).

Multicultural Graduation Celebrations

CSN wishes to celebrate your accomplishments. Graduating students are encouraged to attend a series of multicultural graduation celebrations with their friends and families prior to CSN's official Commencement Ceremony.

Please visit the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion website for additional information and resources.
